Going forward, Invacare Corp. CEU courses will carry International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) accreditation.
In an Aug. 30 news announcement, Invacare said this will impact Invacare, Motion Concepts, Matrx, Alber, and PinDot educational courses.
Joost Beltman, Invacare’s Senior VP and GM for North America, said in the announcement, “We are honored and excited to further expand our educational programs by offering accredited training to our providers and clinicians on a wide range of content.
“By seeking input from our stakeholders, our program will continuously evolve and reflect the latest industry trends and best practices.”
Invacare noted that the IACET Commission evaluation process was extensive and took a year to complete. IACET accreditation is valid for five years, and Invacare said its courses are developed following the IACET/ANSI standard.
