Medtrade Las Vegas: HME’s Spring Fling Continues to Grow

May 1, 2005 by Mobility Management

LAS VEGAS &#151 Medtrade Spring, the home medical equipment industry’s annual western gathering, continues to grow, according to VNU Expositions, the show’s owner.

The three-day event at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, started off Tues., April 5, with AAHomecare’s Continuum of Care and other educational sessions. Those were followed by an exhibit hall and concurrent seminars on April 6-7. VNU says approximately 5,400 HME providers and home health professionals attended, which would be a 22-percent increase compared to attendance figures last year. The show floor featured more than 500 manufacturers exhibiting in more than 88,000 square feet of space, VNU added.

Next year’s Medtrade Spring takes place once again at the Las Vegas Convention Center, March 21-23, 2006. This fall’s Medtrade takes place October 18-20 in Atlanta, with AAHomecare’s Continuum of Care educational conference and a new Reimbursement Conference on October 17.
