National Seating & Mobility (NSM) has named Daniel Curling its new Chief Information Officer (CIO).
In a Feb. 16 news announcement, NSM said Curling has more than 20 years of experience in tech-related positions with private-equity and public companies. In those positions, he has built new platforms and services that have driven those businesses’ growth.
Most recently, Curling was the SVP/CIO for Asurion, a Nashville, Tenn.-based company that provides insurance, warranty and support services for mobile devices, consumer electronics, and home appliances. Curling, who graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Business Analysis, also served as VP/Product Delivery for Sabre Hospitality and Travelocity.
He replaces Mark Marschke, who retired from NSM at the end of last year.
Bill Mixon, NSM’s CEO, said of the new appointment, “Daniel is an innovative leader with a track record of success in driving transformational technology solutions for international businesses. His experience will be invaluable to our team as we continue to lead the future of technology-driven care for our industry.”
Said Curling, “I look forward to being a part of the mission-driven NSM team and am excited to join them in advancing new technologies taking client service to the next level.”
