Ability Members Group Adds Member Services Director

Ability Members Group, the Canadian network of independent home medical equipment providers, has appointed a Director of Member Services.

In a June 20 news announcement, the organization said industry veteran Kelli Vriend will “drive member profitability, membership growth, and will support members in optimizing their business.”

Jamie Church, Ability Members Group’s CEO, said in the news announcement, “We are thrilled to have Kelli on the team. She’s a respected industry leader with a proven track record of successfully supporting owners in strengthening their businesses. Her skills in working with independent owners and driving collaboration between them and suppliers will be an important asset for the organization.”

Vriend brings to this new role more than 20 years’ experience in building, managing, and growing the operations of home medical equipment businesses.

“I’m very excited to join Ability Members Group,” Vriend said in the announcement. “The organization has grown rapidly in the last few years and is taking great strides in driving the home medical equipment market. Working closely with independent owners is something that I enjoy, and this group of owners is doing a great job in supporting their communities. I’m looking forward to helping them optimize operations and improve both their growth and impact.”

Ability Members Group was founded in 2017 and currently has members in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan, and Yukon.
