Dave Cormack Joins AAHomecare Board

August 15, 2014 by Laurie Watanabe

Industry veteran Dave Cormack, president/CEO of Brightree, has been elected to the board of directors for the American Association of Homecare (AAHomecare).

In a news announcement, AAHomecare called Cormack “a pioneer in the HME software industry.” He’s been at the helm of Brightree since 2005, and has built and managed several high-growth companies during his career.

“I am honored to serve on the board of this vital industry organization dedicated to preserving and strengthening healthcare access for the millions of Americans who require medical care in their homes,” Cormack said after his election was announced. “I welcome the opportunity to work collectively with the AAHomecare board of directors and management team to ensure that homecare providers continue to be relevant and not unfairly burdened with legislative and regulatory issues.”

Tom Ryan, AAHomecare president/CEO, said of Cormack’s election, “Dave has a bright mind and strong leadership, and the drive and determination to back it up. His is exactly the kind of voice we need to hear more of in this organization as we navigate the rough terrain the HME industry faces these days. We’re very pleased to welcome him to the board.”
