Nashville will again host the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Gala this fall, an event that brings together many of Complex Rehab Technology’s (CRT) biggest names.
The Oct. 1 event is scheduled for The Factory at Franklin in Franklin, Tenn. Sponsors include Abram’s Nation, National Seating & Mobility, Numotion, Permobil, and Reliable Medical.
The MDA said the Toast to Life Gala is “an evening dedicated to honoring lives touched by muscular dystrophy diseases and advancing the fight for a cure.”
“Over the last 10 years here in Nashville, I have been privileged to sit on the Gala Committee and started chairing the committee a couple of years ago,” David Pietrzak, ATP, vice president of supply chain and clinical operations for Reliable Medical, told Mobility Management. “I truly love the mission and the event. It allows me an opportunity to speak about the lives we impact and provides me with a sense of fulfillment.”
Pietrzak added that the Nashville Gala “has turned into something of an industry event with a lot of manufacturers and the three big CRT providers all in one room for the same reason.”
The 2025 Gala raised more than $200,000 for the MDA, made possible in large part because CRT competitors unite for this event and cause.
“We are all fighting the same battle,” Pietrzak said.
