The start of May is also the start of National Mobility Awareness Month, led by the National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA).
This year’s theme is “Find Your Fit,” which “reinforces the notion that there is an automotive mobility solution for everyone,” said Monique McGivney, Chair of NMEDA’s Industry & Public Relations Committee, in an Awareness Month video.
NMEDA has created a dedicated Web site for National Mobility Awareness Month, with resources including social media graphics, gifs, posters, flyers, and a guidebook to share; Stories of Independence, which shares real-life photos and stories of people who use mobility equipment; a National Mobility Awareness Month fact sheet; a mobility dealer locator; and a consumer newsletter sign-up opportunity.
