The National Pressure Injury Advisory Panel (NPIAP) is now accepting applications for its 2023 Small Grants program.
The program provides “funding for small research projects such as pilot studies,” the NPIAP said in a March 15 news announcement.
To qualify, the projects must address one of the NPIAP’s current research priorities:
— Pressure injury morphology and/or diagnostic accuracy
— Nutrition
— Current general and clinical issue for understudied populations, diseases and conditions that make patients vulnerable to pressure injury formation
— Support surfaces
— Refining criteria for the unavoidable vs. avoidable, end-of-life ulcers and skin failure
— Outcomes
The award amount is $10,000, and the project duration is 12 months. Submissions must be received by Aug. 30, 2023. For more information, click here.
