NSM Adds Branch Offices

July 8, 2014 by Laurie Watanabe

National Seating & Mobility (NSM) has added two offices to its roster.

In early June, the providership opened a new location in Flowood, Miss., near the capital city of Jackson. The grand opening event, which drew Mississippi Lt. Governor Tate Reeves and NSM VP Pete Horkan, was the culmination of “months of preparation and hard work,” according to a news announcement.

In late June, NSM announced it had acquired Major Medical Supply in Providence, R.I.

Major Medical was founded in 2005 and had a staff of six complex rehab technology professionals at the time of the acquisition. The NSM announcement said the staff will be retained.

Damon Bradley, CRTS, ATP, branch manager of the Providence office, said in the announcement, “Complex rehab products and home access solutions are our greatest areas of expertise. Specifically, we provide custom mobility and seating solutions combined with home access solutions, lifts and ramps.”

The other Providence office staffers are David Charette, CRTS; Danny Guerrero, rehab technician; Anthony Rivera, rehab technician; Denise Desjardin, office assistant; and Kimberly Medeiros, customer service representative.

The new Providence office will continue to do business from its Putnam Pike Road location.
