NSM Expands Workers’ Compensation CRT & Accessibility Team

October 22, 2020 by Laurie Watanabe

National Seating & Mobility (NSM) has expanded its workers’ compensation team.

In a news announcement, NSM named Cindi Petito, OTR/L, ATP, CAPS, CEAC, its Program Manager for Workers’ Compensation & Centralized Access, and named Robert Davies its General Manager of Home Access Solutions/General Contractor.

Petito, an occupational therapist who specialized in working with clients with spinal cord and brain injuries while in private practice, combines her experience in seating and wheeled mobility with her expertise in aging in place and environmental accessibility. She will lead NSM’s centralized service team, which is based in Largo, Fla., and provides complete mobility, home and vehicle accessibility services to clients in Florida and 47 states.

Davies is a home modification industry veteran, having owned and operated a home modification business that specialized in workers’ compensation cases. He also has extensive experience in project management and payor relations, and in his new position will support NSM’s accessibility branches by working directly with payors to determine and implement the best solutions.

Brendan Swift, VP of NSM’s National Workers’ Compensation Program, said in the announcement, “Our NSM360 National Workers’ Compensation Program exists to ensure a fully integrated solution to help NSM clients who are injured at work gain self-reliance and independence in their homes and communities. With the addition of these two industry veterans, our team is better positioned to enhance the services we provide the Workers’ Compensation industry.”
