Numotion Acquires CRT Business from CVC Home Medical

August 10, 2017 by Laurie Watanabe

Numotion has acquired the complex rehab technology (CRT) portion of CVC Home Medical, located in Wilmington, N.C.

In a news announcement, Numotion noted that CVC Home Medical has served clients in the Wilmington and Morehead City areas for more than two decades.

Mike Swinford, Numotion’s CEO, said of the acquisition, “We are excited about expanding in North Carolina. We are always looking for ways to better serve customers and provide them with innovative mobility solutions. This acquisition will provide the disabled community in eastern North Carolina with greater access to mobility resources, products and services.”

In the announcement, Numotion said all of CVC’s rehab employees would join Numotion’s existing Wilmington location, and that CVC’s clients would not experience any changes in service.

Numotion added in the announcement, “The [former CVC Home Medical] team will gain access to a larger product offering and support infrastructure that help to increase efficiency in getting needed equipment and services to customers so they can actively participate in everyday life.”
