Krista McNurlen
VGM & Associates has promoted two of its marketing leaders.
In a March 22 news announcement, the member service organization said it has promoted Krista McNurlen to SVP, business operations. McNurlen previously served as SVP, marketing, starting in April 2021.
Also, Mandi Rogers has been promoted to VP, marketing. Rogers previously served as VGM’s senior director of marketing and communications.
VGM executives praise leaders’ accomplishments
The announcement said VGM promoted McNurlen “to have a senior leader that ensures the collective focus of the team is achieving VGM & Associates’ strategic objectives for the future.”
“McNurlen will work to develop KPIs [key performance indicators] and scoreboards, milestones, communication, and more,” the announcement added. “Her experience as a senior leader at VGM (and other companies), in addition to her already established relationship with the VGM & Associates leadership team, makes her the ideal person for this role.”
McNurlen joined VGM in 2017 as the organization’s director of marketing, key accounts and services. Previously, she worked at an advertising agency, where “she assisted in brand development and product launches for the manufacturing and medical device industries. Krista has also held positions in public relations, communications, and higher education.”

Mandi Rodgers
Rodgers — now VP, marketing — has been serving at VGM since 2017 and has specifically worked in marketing since 2019. “In her new role, she will lead and guide the marketing team in creative standards, marketing, and communications to disrupt traditional paradigms, simplify the VGM story, develop materials for the member success team, build on the strength and influence of the VGM brand, and more,” the announcement said. “Prior to joining VGM, Mandi worked in public relations, broadcast, events, communications, and marketing for healthcare, sustainability, consumer products, and AV/IT.”
“We are extremely excited for Mandi to step into this new role,” Dave Lyman, SVP, sales, said. “Her extensive background and ability to forge meaningful connections align seamlessly with our commitment to delivering effective business solutions to our VGM members.
