May 18, 2021 by Laurie Watanabe

Ability Members Group now extends from coast to coast in Canada.

A May 18 news announcement from Ability Members Group said the organization had added Eastern Medical Supplies to its membership roster. Eastern Medical Supplies, a full-service Complex Rehab Technology and DME provider founded in 1987, serves clients and healthcare agencies in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Bill Hutchings, President of Eastern Medical Supplies, said in a news announcement, “Joining Ability Members Group is exciting because it gives us access to resources, programs and support that we didn’t have when operating on our own. We look forward to connecting with members across the country and exchanging best practices and insights on how to serve our clients in different ways.”

Jamie Church, CEO of Ability Members Group, said of the organization’s newest member, “Adding Eastern Medical Supplies to our membership gives us the ability to support the home healthcare needs of Canadians across the country. Bill and his team have over 30 years of experience to share with our members, and we look forward to helping them adopt additional programs and tools to serve their communities.”

As of April 2021, Ability Members Group had 80 member locations and is represented in all Canadian provinces. The Group was founded in 2017.
