Lifeway Mobility Acquires Massachusetts Business

July 17, 2017 by Laurie Watanabe

Lifeway Mobility has added an office in Massachusetts following the acquisition of Total Access of New England.

In a news announcement, Lifeway Mobility said the new branch would operate out of a new office near Westborough, Mass.

Paul Bergantino, president of Lifeway Mobility, said in the announcement, “We’re very pleased to be joining forces with the Total Access team and excited to build on the strengths of two great companies with the same important mission — to improve safety, freedom and comfort for people with mobility challenges and their caregivers.”

Dan Martin, former owner of Total Access, joins Lifeway Mobility as VP and will oversee the company’s operations in Massachusetts. Lifeway Mobility is headquartered in Connecticut.

“Lifeway is a growing company with a strong commitment to putting the needs of its customers first,” Martin said. “Together, we’ll be able to offer a full spectrum of innovative products to help people with mobility issues.”

The accessibility provider sells ramps, stairlifts, lift and transfer equipment, and bath safety products in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
