Medtrade Spring to Offer CRT CEUs

January 25, 2019 by Laurie Watanabe

If you’re heading to Las Vegas in April to attend Medtrade Spring, you’ll be able to pick up some continuing education units (CEUs) directly related to the complex rehab technology (CRT) field.

In a Jan. 18 news announcement, Medtrade Spring said it would offer CEUs free with expo registration.

The two CRT courses are “Clinically Speaking” (on evaluation and documentation for powered seating), and “The Case for Wheels (on selecting a clinically appropriate base).

Each class will offer .20 CEUs to participants who complete the course.

Julie Piriano, PT, ATP/SMS, VP of Clinical Education, Rehab Industry Affairs and Compliance Officer, Quantum Rehab/Pride Mobility Products Corp., is presenting the classes.

Both classes will be held on Wed., April 17.

Medtrade Spring’s conference at Mandalay Bay takes place April 16-17, with the expo hall open April 17-18. Conference tracks include Business Operations, Executive Leadership, Keeping It Legal, Medicare Updates, Regulations and Compliance, Retail and Cash Sales, and Sales and Marketing.
