Mobius Mobility Announces Transport Options for iBOT

Mobius Mobility has secured Occupied Transport clearance from the U.S. Food & Drug Administration for its iBOT Personal Mobility Device (PMD).

iBOT PMD latest versionMobius Mobility was launched, and production on the PMD version of the iBOT began in 2019.

The iBOT PMD features a maximum weight capacity of 300 lbs. and a standard seat-to-floor height of 18.7 inches. Its top speed in standard configuration is 6.7 mph, with slower speeds when the PMD is in balance mode or four-wheel mode. Mobius Mobility offers Motion Concepts’ Ultra Low Maxx rehab seating.

With this latest version of the iBOT, Mobius Mobility has been focusing on partnering with the Veterans Health Administration. Veterans have been among the biggest supporters of previous iBOT models.

This summer, Mobius Mobility donated iBOT PMDs to veterans as part of its nationwide Operation Mobility Tour, which targeted Spinal Cord Injuries/Disorders Centers.
