NBC will broadcast 70 hours of Paralympic Games coverage, and coverage will also be streamed live via TeamUSA.org.
Coverage kicked off last night with the Rio Paralympics opening ceremonies and will continue through the closing ceremonies on Sunday, Sept. 18.
The broadcasts will include coverage of track & field, basketball, cycling, swimming, judo, rugby and volleyball, as well as the closing ceremonies.
Despite significant budget cuts and warnings from organizers that just 12 percent of Paralympics tickets had been sold as the Rio Olympics drew to a close, Paralympic Games organizers recently reported that demand for tickets had jumped dramatically. On Sunday, organizers said 1.5 million Paralympics tickets had been sold, and that several event finals had been sold out.
