NSM Announces Leadership Promotions

September 16, 2019 by Laurie Watanabe

National Seating & Mobility (NSM) has announced two promotions involving executive staff.

In a Sept. 12 news release, NSM said Isaac Rodriguez is now the Senior VP of Strategic Development.

The announcement said Rodriguez’s new position “will support the organization with revenue diversification and productivity opportunities, including Home Access, Product Programs, Workers’ Compensation, ATP productivity and other adjacent markets.”

Jason Miele has also been promoted to Regional VP of NSM’s East Region, the position in which Rodriguez previously served. Miele, who will now oversee branch office operations in the East Region, joined NSM in April 2018 to serve as a Regional Area Director. His background includes 14 years as an occupational therapist and serving as an Army Medical Officer for the United States Army Reserves since 2013.

Bill Mixon, NSM’s CEO, said of Miele’s promotion, “Jason’s breadth of experience and contributions to NSM make him an ideal selection to lead our East Region. We are proud to promote him to this role and add him to NSM’s executive leadership team.”

Rodriguez’s previous tenures included 15 years as Ottobock’s Director of Operations and working in revenue management and operations positions for Apria Healthcare. At NSM, Rodriguez also served as Area VP of the Pacific Region.

“Isaac has proven himself an effective leader and valuable contributor to NSM’s executive team,” Mixon said. “His experience, skillset and drive make him a strong choice to guide our continued trajectory of growth.”
