Quantum Rehab has launched the J4, a Group 2 single-power heavy-duty power base.

The J4 HD has a 400-lb. weight capacity and an optional Q4 HD power tilt function. The new power chair has a Mid-Wheel 6 Drive design, an ATX suspension, and standard 5-mph motors, with a base width of just 24.25 inches. Seat widths and depths are available from 20 to 24 inches, in 2-inch increments.

The Q4 HD Power Tilt system provides 55 degrees of power tilt and is compatible with Quantum’s power articulating foot platform.

The power wheelchair is coded K0837.

John Storie, VP of Quantum Sales for the eastern United States, said of the launch, “We’ve had much success with our J4 power chair, and we saw a need for an HD version of it. We’re pleased to expand our product offerings to add a K0837 code option.”
