Sunrise Medical Adds Education Team Members

May 22, 2012 by Laurie Watanabe

Sunrise Medical has added two clinicians to its Sunrise Training and Education Programs (STEPS) team.

Steve Boucher started with Sunrise as an account manager in 2003 and worked throughout the New England area. Boucher has a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of New England, and has worked as a clinician at Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital as a wheelchair clinic multidisciplinary team member.

Boucher says he is “eager to bring energy and fun to education while working with individuals across the country to achieve successful outcomes with seating & mobility assessments and prescription of products.”

Also new to the Sunrise education team is Angie Kiger, who earned her bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy from Longwood University; her master’s degree in assistive technology from George Mason University; and a certificate in assistive technology from California State University Northridge.

Kiger says she is looking forward “to offering innovative, exciting and interactive educational programs. My primary goal is to inspire the development of implementation strategies that will literally change the lives of end users.”
