VARILITE Global Product Manager Nicole Muehlenhaus has been promoted to director of medical, the wheelchair seating manufacturer has announced.
In the news release, VARILITE said Muehlenhaus’s new responsibilities would include setting the future course for the VARILITE brand. Muehlenhaus will also assume responsibility for Cascade Designs’ medical division, including sales, marketing, international distribution and customer service.
Cascade Designs’ medical division manufactures VARILITE products, which include wheelchair seat cushions and backrests for consumers with basic to highly complex seating & positioning needs.
“We are lucky to have someone with as much industry and international experience as Nicole,” said Kevin Gallagher, the VP of Cascade Designs’ New Markets division. “In the director role, Nicole leads a strong, complex rehab-focused team that puts Cascade Designs in a unique position to take advantage of the challenges ahead.”
