The National Coalition for Assistive & Rehab Technology (NCART) has added three new members to its board of directors following a board election earlier this summer.
Joining the NCART board are Alexis Ward, head of funding and advocacy, Cubby Beds; Derek Meier, director of government affairs and advocacy, Rifton; and Michael Hughes, ATP, national sales director, Motion Composites.
Hughes, Meier and Ward join Mickae Lee, NCART board president, Permobil; Kevin Gearheart, board vice president, Rehab Medical; Tim Casey, board executive committee, Numotion; Mike Barner, board secretary, University of Michigan Wheelchair Seating Service; Larry Jackson, board treasurer, Sunrise Medical; Seth Johnson, board executive committee; John Miller, board executive committee; and board members Bruce Bayes, Custom Mobility; Brett Zaer, Superior Mobility; Mike Osborn, Alliance Rehab and Medical Equipment; Doug McDaniel, National Seating & Mobility; Brandon Boyer, Reliable Medical; Curt Prewitt, Ki Mobility; Ike Isaacson, VGM/U.S. Rehab; Brad Peterson, Amylior; and John Letizia, Laurel Medical.
NCART leadership group also includes Andrea Madsen, liaison from the International Registry of Rehabilitation Technology Suppliers (iNRRTS); Rita Stanley, liaison from the Rehabilitation Engineering & Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA); and Tamara Kittelson, liaison from the Clinician Task Force.
NCART is currently conducting a search for a new executive director after current Executive Director Wayne Grau announced he will retire at the end of this year.
